History of Panchal Industries:

Welcome to Panchal Industries

My name is Hardik Panchal. I’ve been working with metal since I was a teenager. It’s not just my job - it’s my life, my skill, and something I’ve grown up doing.

My story began in 2002, after my father passed away. I was still very young, but I stepped into his small workshop to keep things going. He had been running a small unit beside our house that made basic construction materials like holdfasts, angle brackets, swing hangers, flat bars, and did small welding jobs. I learned everything hands-on - no shortcuts. That shop became my classroom, and metal became my language.

A few years later, because of some financial issue, we had to stop that business. I tried working in another field for a while. In 2005, I tried to work at an auto and insurance consulting office. But honestly, my heart wasn’t in it.

Within just 15 days, my brother and I got a chance to work on a fabrication project. It was a big opportunity - a job for Wide Angle Multiplex Theater and shopping mall, one of the first and biggest commercial complexesin my city. We were asked to fabricate their brand logo, a big "W" made from 14-gauge sheet metal, equal angles and C channels. We didn’t even have proper equipment at that time, so we bought our first 250 amp stick welding machine (local brand) just for that job. It was a proud moment. I also made a small copy of the same logo and gifted it to their office.

That job gave me confidence, and people started noticing our work.

In 2006, we got a contract from a large advertising company based in Ahmedabad. We fabricated 120-foot-high hoardings weighing 15,000 kg. It was a massive structure. That job led to more projects with them over the next 3 years, across different cities in Gujarat.

Between 2005 and 2012, we handled all kinds of metal work across Gujarat. Some of the major highlights include:

· Miscellaneous metal works at six railway stations across the state: grillwork, steel drainage covers, welding, repairing, fencing, and light poles (2005–2007)

· Control rooms at five different bus ports (2007–2008)

· Miscellaneous metal works in civil hospital projects in my hometown: grills, gates, sheds, and cat altars (2006–2007)

· Metal works for universities, courts, and municipal offices in Patan and Mehsana (2008–2010)

· Advertising hoardings and gantries in multiple cities (2007–2010)

· Small city bus stands with backlit hoarding boards (2005 - 2006)

· Road Construction machinery fabrication contract at Apollo Earth (now AMMAN INDIA)in Ditasan, Mehsana (2008 - 2009)

· 10,000+ tree guards for government plantation projects (2009)

· A 24,000 kg Foot Over Bridge (FOB) in Unjha with Gov. Contractor & PWD - completed in just 24 days, from foundation to inauguration (2009)

· 6,500 tree guards for Dudhsagar Dairy, one of the biggest dairies in India (2009–2010)

· A 3000 kg conical steel vessel for a pharma company in Sanand (2010 - 2011)

· A full crusher machine setup with tank and steel body in Ahmedabad (2010 - 2011)

· A 12,000 kg main gate for Gujarat Engineering College, Palanpur (2011–2012)

In 2010, we completed one of our most challenging jobs - a 12,000 sq. ft. pyramid-style steel roof for Siddhpur Court, installed at 70 feet height using a boom crane. I personally sat on the steel structure to guide the crane operators and unlock wire ropes. I had a team of 15 workers, but I led it myself from up top. It wasn’t easy, but I never hesitated.

From 2013 to 2015, I worked closely with a top builder in Mehsanaand completed 500+ residential metalworks - gates, grills, shades, light poles, and wash yard covers.

In 2015–2016, I built:

· 11 heavy staircases, each about 2500 kg, for the Square One Shopping Mall in Mehsana.

· Two round spiral staircases for a commercial mall in Talod, each 6000 kg, made from 25mm thick steel platesfor curved stringers - fully suspended outside the building.

Between 2013 and 2022, I worked more than couples of hundred projects with reputed architects, engineers, residential, commercial, industrial, and government clients for metal fabrication work including small and big:

· Custom metal fabrication projects  · Exterior and interior stairs · Grills, safety gates, railings, compound railings

· Wash yard covers with grills and doors · Rooftop shades · Home theater structures · CNC patterns · Pergolas

· Factory sheds, bridges, fencing, and more...

I also completed more than around hundred tensile structure projects, including small and big:

· Canopies · Barrel vaults · Conical gazebos · Gym and resort shades · Car parking covers across Gujarat and India

In 2013, I registered my first company: NSP Fabrication & Engineering. We focused on architectural steel structures and tensile fabric projects. One of the most memorable projects was at the Indo-Pak border—a 200 ft x 100 ft barrel vault shade. Another local contractor installed the steel frame, but NSP handled design, fabrication, and installation of the tensile part. It was a proud moment.

· In 2016, Custom metal fabrication work From Rebar welding to everything at Hotel TGA, Mehsana, Gj (2016)

· Iconic C-shaped hanging staircase with 3 wire rope throughout from each tread - ground floor to fourth floor at one my friend builder’s house weight around 8000 kg (2017)

· A 12000 kg Steel structure industrial shade at Rajasthan for gov. contractor of Cain Energy India LTD (2019)

· A massive project taken in 2016 for science city compound wall fencing 5km all the way around of science city, Ahmedabad, GJ, IN weighing around 12000kg of front portion we have completed.

· In 2018, fabricate 150’ x 40’ ft Steel structure shade completed at Manav Ashram, Mehsana, Gj, IN (2018)

· In 2021, Polycarbonate shade completed at Martoli temple, Mehsana, GJ, IN 1500 Sq ft (2021)

In 2022, I moved to Canada to start a new chapter in life and work. Just 15 days after landing, I got my first welding job here. I earned my CWB certifications and started working in multiple roles - welder, fabricator, designer, estimator, and site supervisor. I also expanded my work into SolidWorks and design services.

Panchal Industries is more than just a company - it’s the result of years of learning, struggle, and hard work. It’s built on trust, honest effort, and real-world experience.
